1957 | FLO-PAK Introduced
Free Flow Packaging Corporation introduced the revolutionary concept of FLO-PAK: a flowable packaging material made of our paper loosefill, then known as “cut straws”.
1967 | plastic integration
In order to reduce the weight of the packaging material by 80%, we invented a polystyrene extrusion process to manufacture a plastic flowable packaging material.
1969 | gas integration
In order to use general purpose polystyrene for producing FLO-PAK we adjusted the production process by using a gas injection extrusion system.
